For an upcoming event I'll be doing a looping set AND a set with backing tracks (more industrial) which I haven't done in years! I'm actually excited and positive about this, bc the last few shows I've been to where backing tracks were used I was seemingly the only one irked by non-live music! 😂
I really want to reenact this picture with an additional lady
And not change the written list, bc you couldn't even *mention* gayness specifically, let alone see queer people triumph
It's really hard not to believe that you deserve whatever respect or lack thereof you get. At least for me. And I continue to get no respect, and I should be used to it, but can you blame me for wanting better? Yeah? oh ok, sorry
Deciding which songs to do -- ones I can't do with live-looping, that don't have tons of vocal layers (which for better or worse most of my later songs do) -- I will keep a little cello on the backing track but "vocals should almost never be on backing tracks" is an opinion I hold strongly.
They don’t want kids online because online is where kids discover other people like them and hope for a future where they get to be themselves and be loved.
A lot of the “kids online safety” proponents actually are anti-LGBTQ extremists and fundamentalists who want kids to have less freedom and don’t care if that actually makes them tremendously less safe too
