I'm often amazed thinking about how computers went from this to the supercomputers we carry in our pockets in his lifetime...and boggle at what will happen in my kids' lifetime as they go from smartphones to...who knows what?
My dad worked at IBM from the late 60s through the mid-80s; can't wait to show this to him (as a good Notre Dame kid, I'm sure he'll appreciate the nun).
