Raman was DSA endorsed in her first campaign and Working Families endorsed in her most recent campaigns.
L.A.'s city council and mayoral elections are non-partisan elections.
To my knowledge, Raman hasn't revealed a political party affiliation at all.
Karen Bass isn't a Democratic Party candidate either, although I believe she's been endorsed by the party.
Seems like reporters should be able to get that right, especially when one of them (Jacob Sobaroff) LIVES IN THE CITY.
