I am not sure what amazes me more on this offer. The price? The existence of such service itself? Or the fact that academia turned into overcompetitive rat race? 🤔
It’s been three years since I stepped into the editorial duties of the @archrozhledy.bsky.social. To mark the anniversary, I’ve written down a few thoughts on the current culture of critique and on possible ways out of it.
But why are threre so few close family relationships (compared to Late Neolithic and Bronze Age cemeteries)? Its rather suspicious. Community - yes but this community was likely much broader entity than a single settlement or cluster of neigbouring villages.
CHRU does not work, they should go for SAS (Special Archaeological Service) 😉
I have put on paper some thoughts on why Central Europe's Neolithic was more diverse than broad narratives often suggest. Drawing on several case studies, I explore regions that developed along their own paths and deserve more attention from future research. doi.org/10.1017/ppr....
