okay but consider that endogenous puberty is also "irreversible" and yet we do not put cis children on puberty blockers and put them through a bunch of humiliating rituals to see if they really want to be cis before letting them maybe have puberty
its like abortion. im not someone who says that abortion should be "safe, legal, and rare" bc i am completely unconcerned with how frequent or infrequent abortions may be. the right to abortion should not be dependent on how rare they are. bc that is what it means to value bodily autonomy
