The next Democratic administration is likely to take office (if it takes office at all) during a period of high inflation, high unemployment, runaway debt, spiraling Social Security costs, and quite possibly a war. Each could probably be fixed on its own, but they undercut one another's solutions.
Oh man, it's such a shame that Congress never bothered to ban racial gerrymandering. I bet a law to do that could have been reauthorized by nearly unanimous margins.

It's not just jokes, I'm brave enough to argue with poems too. I can't imagine ever calling someone to ask for their favorite recipes. Cookbooks and the internet are where recipes come from.

There's something almost too on-point with the techbro alt-right embrace of stoicism ('broicism'), given stoicism is a formula for living happy in unfreedom, a philosophy for contentedness under tyranny. A philosophy of self-improvement for when social improvement is beyond recall.
It is not even a slight exaggeration to say the project of the Trump Administration is to turn the federal government into an enforcer of Jim Crow-style racial segregation.
It’s insane that they’re basically trying the β€œwait, so if a company issued a trillion shares but only floated one and found one dude willing to buy that share for $100 they’d technically be the most valuable company in the world” thought experiment people use to point out how valuation is weird.
