I love reading what people write. It's a really fun way to get to know someone. There's traces of personality in everything on the page.
There is a poem by Annie Dillard that begins with the lines,
"How we spend our days
is, of course,
how we spend our lives."
And I think about that a lot.
Some supposed literary classics haven't aged well but The Picture of Dorian Gray never gets old.
