The next 2 novels in the queue once I finish Isabel Allende's Long Petal of the Sea. I like plenty of variety and haven't read a Tom Holt in years. Wonderfully daft and clever at the same time. Both from a charity shop in the seaside town of Sidmouth
Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you have a lovely day

Cheated a bit by incorporating comments they had put in a wonderful piece of feedback. I prefer to use their words, not mine, more authentic

Celebrated New Year by going ice skating with my not-so-young children. Very pleased to have managed a whole lap without touching the side, while youngsters whizzed past me!
My little win today, that gives me a disproportionate amount of satisfaction. Writing a discharge letter for a client, getting Word to review it and getting a 100% Editor score. These are the kind of things that make me feel happy and slightly smug!
