(they hated the encampments because of palestine, ofc. BUT ALSO, they hated the encampments bc students were teaching each other, thinking morally, and figuring out how to exert power that was not authorizied by admin...into results like, well like this one!)
Why is this interesting? Why is it important?
Well, it helps understand why they cracked down so hard on students in Palestine.
Even if we couldn't get unis to divest, a great deal of Palestine organizing happened/happens in university unions and such.
