Really sorry to hear this. RIP Dave Greenslade. He was a fine gent to talk to circa five years ago when I interviewed him; it felt like conversing with a certain spirit of the 1960s-70s that would not give in to cynicism.
“It’s a long way from anywhere…” Just heard that Dave Greenslade has died. Currently greatly enjoying again his superbly witty and inventive scores for A Very Peculiar Practice on BBC4. His work on Gangsters too was brilliant, both of and ahead of its time. “We’ll always love you.” RIP.
