We will still be roughly 50% assholes and ignoramuses who feel threatened by anything different or progressive but *maybe* we at least won't be constantly in the news in every modern country on Earth and I think that's the best we can hope for.

America isn't dying. I think what will most likely happen if we ever get a sane president again is that we will become a has-been country. We won't do anything great, other countries won't pay much attention to us anymore. We'll be a big nothing country and that's actually kind of okay.
I don't think I could quote any TV episode cold but there are some that, as I'm watching I always know what line comes next. Several Star Trek, TOS and Next Gen eps and all of Firefly.
And I admit I have given 5 stars on books just because I didn't want the author to be mad at me. The whole, "I must have 5 stars" thing kind of invalidates all ratings so it doesn't really matter all that much.
My taste in scenery is widely varied but this is similar to the scenery in my back yard, though our creek is rarely this high.

I hate this so much. Four stars is VERY GOOD. Five stars is exceptional, rare, practically a once in a decade experience. Almost no one deserves five stars but everyone demands five stars. Most people in business need to f**king get over themselves.
