The videos from Boston are such a refreshing antidote to the relentless gloom, scapegoating, condescension and smirking intolerance that so much of Scotland’s media and politics is mired in.
They invent a fictional Scotland to get mad at while the rest of the world falls in love with the real one.
At this point, I genuinely believe the entire public is being actively gaslit by both the media, and Esther Ghey herself, into forgetting that Brianna Ghey was murdered, by people she knew from school, in real life, who were partly influenced by transphobia, fuelled by the media and politicians.
