Nah, that's just lousy art direction. Zbrush is just a sculpting tool; if people crank out mid with it that's on them.
Most of the time, the "let's just block it out quick in Zbrush, it'll be way quicker" instinct is terribly, horribly foolish. Buuuuuut once in a while I put on my apron and cook a little πŸ’€πŸ½οΈπŸ’š
I gobble them up whenever I can. Ideally you want to find them in the wild, hobby/game shops will charge you a very sensible $7ish bucks, whereas Ebay hocks them at garish robbery rates closer to $30ea. But they're a real treat to assemble, paint, and game with!
Appreciate the hype, I presently do all the writing and illustrating on Jotun. The game has a lot of art ranging from clean lined to mega crusty; all to celebrate the dynamic aesthetics of the mecha anime genre (and because I like both styles and couldn't be bothered to pick just one)
In the end, as it should be, all TTRPGs become horror games πŸ’€
Spread is so smart, I've been ripping and dipping like a maniac πŸ’€ goated snack tho
