I was just thinking about all the people who'll never finish writing that novel they were working on, or do something else that could contribute meaningfully to the world, because they got sucked into addiction to some shitty A.I. bot.
The same goes for the inaction of social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram to shut down far-right pages masquerading as "free speech" warriors and "concerned parents" groups. Ban the pages and the platforms and it will significantly hamper and dampen their ability to organise.
