Oh shit I deleted the clothed ref my bad lemme just-
I was going to draw something for this but then I was at work forever 🥲 Mithra is pansexual and has a weird relationship with her gender identity but is too afraid to think about it for long.
I've decided 3am is a perfectly acceptable time to post nudes, so here's my vallaslin ref ig
She doesn't like it on other people (trauma), but she doesn't usually shave either. She will in very rare circumstances. She had to for her vallaslin, she took an everything bath before going to Crestwood with Solas (oof), she shaved before going to Halamshiral (so her vallaslin was more visible).
Me: *minding my fucking business*
My brain: hey wouldn't it be fucked up if during the Fade Fear Demon sequence, it was real trauma instead of spiders
Buff woman is constantly tasked with exceeding impossible expectations and her smallest decision is scrutinized by literally everyone. Wait I dropped these... *picks up polaroids of Avatar Korra and Adora from She-Ra* Oh. They're all the same picture.... My favorite gender.
"Hahaha- no. No. But if people believe that, maybe it's beneficial. They can call me whatever name they want if it means they'll help seal the Breach. And maybe if I'm their Herald of Andraste, they won't call me a knife-ear so easily in the same breath."
She has mixed feelings, she doesn't totally hate her. She really likes most of her views actually, finds her overall helpful and agreeable. She respects her, appreciates her allegiance to the Inquisition. But she HATES the humansplaining infodumping she does when they go to the vir'abelasan.
I kinda want her to give more of them nicknames. It'll come to me. She does call Bull "big guy" and obviously Solas vhenan, so that sort of counts. Maybe this 3rd/4th playthrough will bring me more characterization ideas. (I'm playing it on multiple platforms rn I'm not insane I promise)
I try to write and RP as close to canon as possible. But also sometimes I'm a little delusional, so the gaps I fill in based on how I feel they are characterized could be... debatable.
