I was photographing the moon from the Mauna Loa observatory on Hawai’i (the 2nd photo is my attempt), when one of the kind people who works there lined up my phone’s camera through their giant telescope, made some adjustments to my phone, and took this first photo. Whoa.

He loves art and was so bummed when he didn’t get art as his elective this year, but he’s been dedicated to still creating on his own. This one is “untitled.”
I’m proud of this kid.
With about 42 seconds to go in this video, I swear he tap dances “Shave and a Haircut, two bits!”
Basically! He didn’t even recognize himself in the mirror. I should share that video with all, stand by.
