More funding for cycling and walking is good news but councils/councillors need to develop the bravery to actually deliver strong interventions that will support (and push!) modal shift. If they cave to drivers (sorry, "residents" or "traders") every time we won't see anything much happen!
Once again this Labour Government does bad stuff.
Active travel money is rare enough, but to allow LAs to use it as generic highways money is a betrayal.
But betrayal is what we expect from this shower.
