I've been asked to publish this statement from some of the families affected by NHS England's decision in Brighton.
The Practice has stated that in a number
of cases the parents described access to its service as ‘’life saving’ as their children were
presenting with suicidality and dysphoria which represented a risk to their life as well as
their social and psychological development
Gender critical feminism is an entirely transphobic hate movement.
But there are actually some prominent GC figures with intellectual heft who have made meaningful contributions to feminism (outside their transphobia).
Rosie Duffield is not one such individual.

The Starmer government is deliberately trying to kill trans children. That is the only conclusion that can be drawn from reading this…
Very thoughtful thread.
For my part, I find history as a discipline a frustrating mix of truth seeking, storytelling, and recontextualizing. They are all valuable in their own right but often work at cross purposes. Add to that the vulgarization of historical work by politics and it's quite a mess!

The report is absolutely unreliable, politically motivated, filled with inaccuracies & misrepresentations, whilst still failing to find any smoking gun to justify this dangerous removal of essential healthcare of a known to be at high risk cohort.

The NHS has already shown its utter disregard for evidence supporting the efficacy of MAF hormones for trans youth
However (we will ignore the clear evidence of benefits and the absence of any actual proven harms at all and instead ban this care based on some totally made up hypothetical future harms for which we have literally no evidence just cos we hate trans existence & love having power over trans lives)
