Lineage was started by Adam Forste and Kevin Marchetti, former Morgan Stanley bankers who formed Bay Grove and built Lineage through a massive acquisition strategy starting around 2008. It became the world’s largest cold-storage operator and went public on Nasdaq as LINE in 2024.
