For years, anyone warning about russian influence operations was mocked, ignored, or accused of fearmongering. Now that those operations are reaching their own audience, the conversation has changed very quickly.
One thing I’ll never understand is why so many countries feel entitled to dictate another nation’s historical memory. Ukraine is free to honor, rebury, commemorate or debate figures from its own history. It’s not Poland’s history. It’s not Israel’s history. It’s Ukraine’s.
