A good end to the year for Mireclim! A paper has just been published that highlights the role of peatlands as climate-change refugia in Central Europe and the importance of microclimate. It is part of the special issue *Climate Change Refugia Conservation* in *Conservation Science and Practice*.

After a fantastic conference in Montpellier with @mebconf.bsky.social, where we shared #MIRECLIM results, we’re back in the field on our peatlands. Blooming cottongrass, cranberries, and stunning peatland views remind us why we love this work. And pesticide-free cereal field, simply beautiful!

Another field trip behind us! This time, we retrieved our 1-year tea bags (@TeaBagIndex) and replaced them with a fresh set. Nature treated us to the blooming of **Ledum palustre** and **Eriophorum vaginatum**—a truly picturesque time of year!🐍 @calliergon.bsky.social @igsopas.bsky.social
First field trip this year, checking and maintaining equipment and reading data. Unfortunately, we start this year with worse moisture conditions than last year. If last year at the end of the summer on some sites the ground water dropped to -80 cm, I don't know how it will be this year...
