Today starts Refugee Week UK, and I thought I’d share my first hand embroidered artwork in a series about immigration. This is ‘Citizenship Requirements’, the 1st page of the UK citizenship app in thread & fabric, emphasising the explicit & implicit demands of being a ‘good’, ‘grateful’ immigrant.
I told @jondennis.bsky.social about a doctor who was banned from practising for claiming her own range of vitamins ‘rendered vaccines irrelevant’, and he said: ‘Oh, a QUACKTIVIST’.
