I think I like that they didn't show if the Inostrancevia family survived or not. Even if they made it out of that specific predicament, that's the world they live in, and it may help sell that this didn't happen in a day.

I think the emphasis on the alpha thing is the only consistent criticism besides maybe getting a bit more time in the triassic.
