We're happy to share that our adorable Cape buffalo calf has been named Kai!
Mira Fine, a generous DZCA supporter, chose the name Kai because it means “ocean” in Hawaiian and follows the water-themed names of the calf's parents, Rain and Boots. Mira is also honoring a “Kai” in her own life.
