It’s been nothing but freeing and empowering knowing I made the best choice for myself in this life. There was nothing like waking up from that surgery in total freedom and gratitude. I loved my body all the more. I hope other people with uteruses are met without resistance as to our own bodies.

I love my life and have never felt the need for children. I do feel maternal at times but in many directions - for my animals and for friends in need. There are many ways to have a family & provide for others in less conventional ways and I embrace all of them. I trust myself and my chosen legacy.

This year marks my 10th year anniversary of getting sterilized! I regard it as the single best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I was so fortunate to have a doctor who listened to me and performed the procedure herself!
