Of course, for a somewhat longer explanation of this position, you can check out my first monograph: www.routledge.com/Ethnic-Ident...
I feel useless because I could do the job but can't get the job. He feels useless because he has the job but can't do it. We are not the same.
Pleased to see that the July issue of @historytoday.com is out. A brief 🧵 for all outside the #atproto bubble on why, from a digital industrial policy perspective, this step is deeply bewildering. There's @eurosky.social – open source, non-profit, fully aligned with the EU's open source strategy. It provides all that W has, & more. And yet, the Commission...
throws its weight behind W – a closed-source, aggressively for-profit company based in Stockholm that launched at the World Economics Forum at Davos. In the atproto community, W is widely – and by all accounts rightly – seen as very shady. Read @elenarossini.com to see why. (See the hat?) 2/
