Some of Wales’ rarest plants have been rediscovered after more than 20 years, thanks to a project examining how the country’s most vulnerable species manage to survive

Ffermio, cyllid a bywyd gwyllt 🚜 Yn ein rhifyn cyfredol, mae Simon Spencer yn disgrifio ei rwystredigaethau wrth geisio gwneud gwahaniaeth i fywyd gwyllt drwy'r Cynllun Adnoddau Naturiol Integredig. Sut gallwn ni ddylunio systemau i gael ffermio a chadwraeth i weithio gyda'i gilydd? 📷️ Rob Parry
Mae tanysgrifio i Natur Cymru yn costio £30 y flwyddyn, ac yn cefnogi gwaith Cymru Wyllt. Helpwch ni i barhau i fod yn llais dros fywyd gwyllt ledled Cymru, a hyrwyddo'r gwaith anhygoel sy’n cael ei wneud gan sefydliadau ac unigolion dros fywyd gwyllt ledled y wlad. www.wild.cymru
Farming, funding, and wildlife 🚜 In our current edition, Simon Spencer describes his frustrations in trying to make a difference for wildlife through the Integrated Natural Resources Scheme. How can we design systems to get farming and conservation to work together? 📷️ Rob Parry
Spotlight on: Foxgloves The Latin name for Foxglove, Digitalis purpurea, means purple finger – relating to the shape and colour of the stunning flowers. It’s the plant source of the drug digitalis, used to treat heart problems. Foxgloves love dry, disturbed ground and dappled shade.
Sylw i: Bysedd y Cŵn Mae'r enw Lladin ar Fysedd y Cŵn, Digitalis purpurea, yn golygu bys porffor – sy'n ymwneud â siâp a lliw y blodau godidog. Dyma blanhigyn ffynhonnell y cyffur digitalis. Mae Bysedd y Cŵn wrth eu bodd gyda thir sych lle mae tarfu wedi bod a chysgod brith.
Eradication of Rats (and other invasive non-native predators of eggs and chicks) on islands can play a big role in seabird recovery. Ensuring they don't get there in the first place is essential too, and far cheaper. It places a big onus on island managers for whom sustaining funding is a challenge
