Update: No FURIOUS tonight. Did some OT at work and got out too late. Bright side? That OT money can buy me some popcorn when I finally get to it sometime next week.
So many movies all at once!!!!!!
(I got to MANDO/GROGU and BACKROOMS the past two nights. I have a ticket for THE FURIOUS tonight. We’ll see if I’m upright enough after this shift to get myself there. Planning for DISCLOSURE DAY on Tuesday. SO MANY!!!!!!)
@crobertcargill.bsky.social I had a dream last night where you were outside my parents’ house and my first thought at discovering you there was “HOLY SHIT I should introduce Cargill to our dogs!!!” Pictured here, Herbie and Artie. You pet them in my dream a few hours ago.
And board games available for anyone to play.
I wasn’t born until 1992 so I missed out on seeing it then. But when I rented it when I was 12 it was the best, most wild, most wonderfully chaotic and creative, wacky and scary ME kind of thing I’d ever seen and it absolutely rocked my world. Thank you for making it. I love it dearly.
They’re purposefully outrageous and you have to go into them understanding and being willing to stomach that. Sort of like the Family Guy of horror. Everything is going to be over the top and you can’t let yourself be upset by that. The practical gore effects are rad. I don’t mind it as dumb fun.
And the Art the Clown antics in the park went mega viral that first few weeks. They had to pull the roaming Art in Orlando because people were ganging up on him and stealing his props after all the TikToks went viral. How does one own that character and not know?
So much of the maze and the merch and food was specific to the second and third movies. All Christmas Art the Clown and the flower sunglasses from 2. We sold a flower glasses-shaped doughnut thing at our very own Clown Cafe! Absolutely batshit wild!
