I've only poked at it a little bit, but wanted to share it for others to take a peek at.
Misinformation can be insidious.
Few months ago someone on Reddit claimed Super Sentai (1975) was based on the Japanese Spider-Man (1978). This is untrue (see years), and I replied and debunked it.
But fast forward to 2 days ago and my brain went, "Super Sentai was based on Japanese Spider-Man."

It's unnecessary and purposefully cruel to police food purchases like this; when I was a cake decorator we had tons of people pay for their kids' birthday cakes with EBT and SNAP and it's safe to assume that it's the only way some kids will ever get a birthday cake.

But today, while digging for something else, I stumbled cross the old Reddit thread and realized the truth:
I had seen falsehood.
I had corrected falsehood.
Then my brain retained the falsehood.
You gotta keep double-checking on your gray matter. Thing's buggy as hell.
D&D Tip: You can get pretty far as a DM by just saying, "Yes, that works," whenever the players say they want to do something.
80% of DMing is just figuring out how to dress up "Yes, that works" so that it looks pretty.
Before posting that, however, I did some quick research to check and, of course, again discovered it wasn't true.
At the time I was like, "Huh. Weird. I guess I was mistaken."
