It's almost like the idea that "oh its okay if we have draconian laws about minors being exposed to queer texts or receiving support for their identity as trans and/or gay" was never about waiting till adulthood and folks will always seek to control or deny queer identities no matter your age

At this point, I genuinely believe the entire public is being actively gaslit by both the media, and Esther Ghey herself, into forgetting that Brianna Ghey was murdered, by people she knew from school, in real life, who were partly influenced by transphobia, fuelled by the media and politicians.
