Did you know: every time a company reports "record profits", if you zoom in, there's a tiny asterisk after "profits", and in invisible ink at the bottom of the page it clarifies with "as soon as we get rid of more of these pesky employees that keep demanding to be paid".

So Gitlab's gonna start forcing small teams to buy their paid plans in order to to pay off the huge hole of debt (that nobody asked them to dig) that they dug in order to pay for AI shit (that nobody asked them to develop) which nobody is using. Because it's shit.
