When we asked Studio City businesses and neighbors what Ventura Place needed most, two priorities came up again and again: more parking and a safer street.
We’re excited to share that we’ve delivered on those priorities.
Today in Council, I was proud to congratulate @lacorps on 40 years of service to our city.
CD4 is proud to support LACC, whose work includes illegal dumping cleanup, vegetation removal, and beautification across the district.
The before-and-after photos tell the story better than I ever could.
Last week, I was proud to recognize Founders MCC, Reverend Keith Mozingo, and Pastor Bam Noriega as our 2026 LGBTQIA+ Heritage Month Honorees. 🏳️🌈
Their work is a reminder that lasting change is built not only through policy, but through compassion, courage, and a deep commitment to serving others.
⚽🌎 Fútbol for the People is coming to Griffith Park!
Join CD4 on Friday, June 12 at the Autry Museum for a FREE community watch party as we cheer on USA vs. Paraguay in the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Doors open at 4PM. Kickoff at 6PM.

Last month, I was proud to join the community at Founders MCC to celebrate the unveiling of the Steps to Liberation, a powerful new public art installation honoring belonging and the freedom to live openly and authentically.
Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈

Today in Council, I was proud to join my co-chairs, Councilmembers John Lee and Ysabel Jurado, in celebrating Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander heritage, culture, and traditions across Los Angeles for HAPA Day, including recognizing Jordan Lucas as a HAPA Honoree.

I am horrified by the deadly attack that took place today at the Islamic Center of San Diego on the first day of Dhul Hijjah, one of the most sacred times of year in the Islamic calendar. I stand with the Muslim community and unequivocally condemn this hateful violence.
