The National Park Service ordered the removal of three quotes at the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston after visitor complained to staff about a quote related to women’s suffrage as being “woke” feminist ideology, according to people familiar with the matter.
A visitor complaint prompted a review of quotes that are anti-war, pro-immigrant or highlighted American hypocrisy on slavery ahead of the monument’s 251st anniversary celebration.
At this point he’s clearly going to be the nominee. But given what’s already out there, I have no doubt whatever that the moment he’s locked in we’re going to see a very well-funded oppo research operation dripping out unsavory stories on a weekly basis.
