🧬 Happy DNA Day! 🧬 Yes, the Molecule of Life has its own day, on the publication anniversary of the 1953 Nature papers describing the double helix structure of DNA, and the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003. Go CelebrATe! 🎉

Cool science, and a great example of the collaborative nature of research here at Vanderbilt. The Page-McCaw lab in Cell and Developmental Biology collaborated with Shane Hudson in Physics to examine how mechanical force can initiate tissue repair. So maybe a kiss does help make it better?🩹
