Unpopular opinion, but if I have to code something and do a pull request in order to make a piece of software do the thing you say it's built to do, it's unfinished and fundamentally broken software and im not gonna be bothered with it lmao

Programmers think that as long as code does what it’s supposed to then it’s complete, and it’s up to the users to fit themselves around it rather than the software/workflow to fit around the user
Sometimes the way they explain how to do things is insanely obtuse and they just don’t get the issue lol
