There is someone in the responses to this (bee avatar if you wanna be nosey) who is such a stereotypical Linuxbro with no self awareness that they are in there, being a stereotypical Linuxbro with no self awareness, unaware they are the exact point of ridicule here.
And I think that's beautiful.
GIMP is objectively unintuitive and also can’t parse text layers of PSDs properly, it’s designed by FOSS people that have never created tools for professionals. Telling someone to use it for their job is like saying you can make a feature on iMovie. Technically true but not serious.

if you find GIMP hard to use you probably shouldn't be allowed to drive a car or shop at a grocery store. it's literally just buttons with pictures on them that do the things the pictures represent. you don't even need to be able to read.
