I've been talking about this for months with others. SaaS products built around data moats are not a thing in the Atmosphere. The whole point is that users data should not be enclosed. This is a space that requires other types of business models.
The Fed's in-house watchdog says the central bank needs to do a better job of managing employee laptops: "A few laptops were still in the possession of former employees, putting data at risk of compromise."

my point being, i don’t think you can blame Attie for lack of funding when the ecosystem we’re in is almost inherently anti-capitalist why the hell would I want to invest my money in a product that can be forked by someone else? real ones will know, the masses won’t.

how many people do you know of that are full time on their open source work? now what’s the percentage of full time oss / day jobs +substitute open source with atproto+
