Very happy to present my thesis work at OOS2025! If you want to talk about the benefits of MPAs and the human impacts on Nature's contributions, don’t hesitate coming for the last evening of poster session 😁
Based on +1,600 🐠 species in 2,800 🪸 reefs, we find that human impacts 🍣 have profoundly altered the contributions of fish communities to ecosystem functioning and People. Conversely, MPAs, while essential, work slowly and locally, and cannot reverse alone global trends toward degradation. 📉🤒
