Back when I did politics at university, you basically knew your voting boxes: Humanities leaning left, engineering right, economics liberal, etc. Of course, sometimes you are stronger or weaker in areas. But you generally know which boxes bring big changes about.

while i'm sure these folks would just find another nonsensical big lie to tell about elections, this specific one seems to emerge wholly from the data journalism era practice of opaquely reporting pseudo "real time" vote counts. maybe we could just... not do that?
