My thoughts on season 4 of Street Fighter 6:
If Arjun's breath nonsense can make him be morbidly obese, he checks the box of my "I need to play as someone morbidly obese" requirement and I'll have more of an incentive to learn the game.
So either the developers know so little about the source material that they'd fuck up the canon in the first official trailer, or it's a Final Fantasy VII Remake situation and the story is going to be arbitrarily changed.
Either way, it's gonna take a lot for me for that to win me over.
Well, this aged poorly.
The Nintendo Direct will make me happy if it includes one or more of the following:
- Wario (barring an appearance in a Mario sports title)
- Project X Zone 3 or a collection of the first two and Namco X Capcom
- a remake of, I dunno, Mole Mania or something
I am... bizarrely enraged by the Ocarina of Time trailer showcasing the Triforce on the back of Link's hand. If you've played OoT, you'd know that the Triforce is in a complete state in this game; the only reason it separated was when Ganondorf touched it upon entering the Sacred Realm.
The Nintendo Direct will make me unhappy if it includes one or more of the following:
- Bananza-era Donkey Kong
- Super Smash Bros. with Waluigi being unplayable again
- A Rhythm Heaven Groove segment (I want to be surprised by the mini-games rather than know what's coming)
I am missing three (3) lines for my Pokémon project. A Youngster, a Rocket, and a Biker.
If you or someone you know can get one of these lines recorded and sent my way by the end of June, I would be eternally in your debt.
I'm not watching the Summer Game Fest since I'm at work, but someone tell me if one of my super niche interests shows up (Project X Zone, anything with Wario in it, a rhythm game that isn't in VR).
Fuck, Alex Cimo passed. I kind of knew it was inevitable, but that doesn't make it easier. He rekindled my passion for the game, and I wouldn't be excited about the new Train support I got for my birthday without him.
