anyway going off a list here, there's been a ton of player name collision- but maybe deep stats nerds have notations that MLB doesn't use? old.reddit.com/r/mlb/commen...
and i guess you could but it's gotta mess people up sometimes, right? that they don't make the Randy Johnson that is the famous one put a (iii) after his name
this made me wonder if MLB had a protocol or whatever for two guys same name- even asynchroniously i didn't look for more than a shortly, but it appears: they don't! at all!! there have been three Randys Johnson from 80-09; two Pedros Martinez, overlapping from 93-97 theyre like: figure it out!
yeah, there's two guys with the same Feigl, there's a ton of ppl in the plains midwest named Bird whose names mostly came from a big oval, black sea to scandinavia, bits of russia to bits of france, learning the guys also have the same Brady? now we're cooking
