Beyond the talent, the experiences shared, and the battles fought, she brought-- as the article says-- millions to comics. That alone is seismic. RIP
Something I appreciate about Marjane Satrapi is that she didn’t let them pigeonhole her into a career of nothing but autobio comics. She did so many things that were like “Really??? The Persepolis artist???” She directed a a serial killer horror comedy starring Ryan Reynolds!
