This starts tomorrow, and I’ll be speaking at noon on Saturday alongside Margaret Bondfield’s biographer Nan Sloane. Can’t wait!

#booksky festival running this weekend
Thanks, that would be flattering, but I’ve never been into partying, and Jenny swears she’ll never get into reading! I marvel that we are related, on so many levels! Looking forward to the festival although it is outside in tents and the weather is looking very drizzly just now!
I do like a heritage information board. This is at Crewe station. My daughter and I were on the train as she is heading to a party (with a bag full of alcohol) and I am going to a book festival - which perfectly reflects our different personalities #trains #crewe #ww1 #history

Resigning from a Labour cabinet because I wanted more money spent on armaments and less on schools, hospitals and supporting the ill, infirm, elderly and unemployed. A sort of unpleasant reverse Bevan I guess.
