Every time we come here I remember how the Vermont mountain air brings out the best version of me.
Tomorrow we are off to Freeport, Maine before crossing the border on Sunday when charging starts to get interesting. Keep following along, we’ve got two weeks more to go!
1st leg - 240 miles NJ to VT in the books! We made it to Ludlow and Off the Rails, our favorite pizza spot in Ludlow.
No problem with range, we have 20% to spare and had pretty good efficiency of 2.4 miles / kWh on the drive.
We are not far off from the BMW iX3 shipping to US customers and I just got an invite to test drive it on an auto cross course and on the road here in NJ in July. BMW puts on amazing driving events and this will be our biggest since our Z4 performance center delivery years ago. I am stoked!
Charging could get interesting, but we are willing to put our EV to the ultimate test of efficiency and range as we even go off grid in sections and drive the incredible Cabot Trail and Fundy Parkway over the next two weeks.
