A couple of notable dates:
Russia's 3-day Special Military Operation has now lasted longer than the 1st World War.
It's also 3 years this week since Russia almost certainly destroyed the Kakhovka Dam in occupied Kherson region, killing an unknown number of Ukrainians.
The Cheboksary target is over 1,000km from Ukraine territory, and just under 1,000km away is another strike - on the Kuibyshevsky oil refinery in Russia's Samara region.
Various fires at the complex, which are also shown on the satellite photo.
The other hits inside Russian territory were on two pumping stations, both in the Vladimir region.
The facilities at Lobkovo and Vtorovo, both part of the Transneft group, are very important for Moscow, with them pushing products there through pipelines.

Four more notable long distance hits for Ukraine overnight.
The highlight as the pinpoint hit by 2 Flamingo (FP-5) missiles at the Progres Research and Development military plant in Cheboksary,
Though hit before, damage was slight. This is very different.
Yesterday's thread had a lot going on.
Attacks on Ukraine's civilians of course, including a bread van. But Ukraine always fights back and war criminals are eliminated with great frequency - only y'day a senior Russian military figure was killed in Moscow

One of my latest ever starts to a daily thread, but this is the beginning of my daily Ukraine thread, for Day 1568 of Russia's all-out attempt to end Ukraine's 35 years of independence from Moscow.
All the news, every single day.
Russia says 3 people were injured in both Cheboksary and Kuibyshevsky as a result of Ukraine's strikes.
However, we know Moscow makes up tons of stuff. Here, the excellent RIA South channel exposes another fake about an attack on a passenger bus in occupied Melitopol.
Almost 1,200 Russian fighters paid the ultimate price - death or disability - for being a war criminal & invading Ukraine. And that's well below the June average so far.
3 more air defence systems destroyed - 41 in a month.
6 x MLRS and 74 artillery systems.
Good hunting!
Here are the Ukraine air defence stats from last night.
At the time of publication, Russian had fired no missiles but 207 drones.
5 x UAVs were still flying, and a slightly lower take-down rate of 88.3%, meaning 21 drones hit 14 places.
