This workshop is organized by Marianna Lohmann and Barbara Schlücker (Freie Universität Berlin) as part of the 49th Annual Conference of the German Linguistic Society (49. Jahrestagung der DGfS 2027 „Sprache unter dem Mikroskop – Beobachtung, Analyse, Theorie“), which will take place in Jena from 3 to 5 March 2027.

The Center of Linguistics of the University of Lisbon (CLUL, https://www.clul.ulisboa.pt/en) is calling for expressions of interest from researchers working in any of CLUL's areas of research (http://www.clul.ulisboa.pt/en/research) who fulfil the conditions to apply to the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) 2026 call. "CLDF Meta" (meta.clld.org) links to data from over 800 CLDF datasets that have been released on Zenodo (e.g. WALS, APiCS and Grambank). There are links to data on over 9000 languoids, e.g. 98 entries on Ambulas (to take a random language). Great work by my colleague Johannes Englisch!
I used to have an electronic version of Leon Serafim’s unpublished manuscript “Palatalization in the Omoro Sooshi” (1977), but I can’t find it anymore. Does anyone have a copy?
