Merlin Bird ID is great, but right now it’s calling Greenfinch at my spot (Benet, Vendée, France ) when I’m literally looking at Rock Sparrows.
Feels like it’s doing some probabilistic weighting: “yeah, could be a Rock Sparrow… but given 100× more Greenfinches, let’s just go with that.”
