Ah very interesting! Imitation is the best form of flattery. However, to get to the same CADR as the open source design, they had to add 50% more fans, using 25% more power, and louder, because of the H14 filter choice over MERV 13 or 14.

Today may be one of the top five Ontario peaks for the year, but new is the Save on Energy demand response program being activated for smaller customers. I'll bet the actual demand will slice the top off the predicted peak. www.ieso.ca/power-data
Ontario peak demand day over! Predicted was for 23041 MW at 5 PM EDT, actual max was *four* hours later, 22044 MW at 8 PM EDT.
I had expected the predicted peak would be sliced off, but not that much!

Ooh curtailment happening earlier than I expected. Still several hours to go! Thunderstorms moved over Toronto may also have impacted demand.
