The Foundation for *Individual* Rights and Expression is complaining about individuals speaking while they defend an organization endorsing murder. The key detail here is that the individuals are liberal and the organization is conservative. That is the only consistent principle in FIRE’s work.
Trump will be gone, so will DeSantis, but segregationism won’t be. You have to name the belief system, not downplay it, if you ever want to defeat it.
