Entering text on an ST7920 graphics LCD display, using the 8-bit LCD box I featured two weeks ago, and the adapter card from last week. In Parallel Mode, the ST7920 accepts a lot of the same commands as HD44780 compatible character LCDs. No schematics or new code today.

I did the run because there are a few cancer survivors in my family, and my family lost at least one relative to cancer well before I was born. I also did the run on behalf of Elly's grandmother, who passed away from breast cancer while Elly was in college.
As I reflect on the weekend, I can't help but smile as I remember all the loving compliments I had gotten from other runners about my Teegle Rhys. And then there were the many kisses I got from Ember and Nuku as they passed me on the track. 🥰
My heart is so full right now. ❤️
Returned to the Relay For Life track after watching the closing ceremony on YouTube to run the victory lap as my Teegle named Rhys. I felt so energized afterward, that I decided to run a second lap - the 'feel-good lap'.
Elly and I are definitely looking forward to Wednesday's Sink the Sim fun! ❤️
Went back to the Ponies For Life campsite last night to get a copy of the campsite marker before everything gets taken down after Wednesday, and after getting my Turtles Trophy, I posed with it next to the marker as my Teegle. I "rezzed" it by attaching it to the Avatar Center. 🐴
At the Relay For Life of Second Life event last night, I represented Ponies For Life, Fauna, and the Elyran Family. I ran 6.39 laps, covering a total of 62,208 meters in 4 hours - all of it for the thrill of participating. ❤️
